Dental Students’ Self-Perception: Health and Academics During COVID-19 Quarantine

The aim of this study was to analyze the self-perceived general health, oral care, stress, academic environment, and harmful habits Mexican dental students during COVID-19 quarantine period. This descriptive observational consisted a self-perception survey that sent undergoing virtual classes. Five sections were analyzed: General Health, Oral Stress, Academic Environment Habits. For each question, asked rate their perception prior to, contingency, which allowed comparison be made between both times for inquiry. answers collected into Microsoft Excel statistical analyses performed using SPSS v.20. A statistically significant difference observed years variables: “physical exercise” quarantine, “emotional problems” “work-load” “academic efficiency” times. trend towards unfavorable in relation among social isolation derived from pandemic. It is notable 1st-year presented greater impact on all variables interest.
